: 197 people were killed in six days

197 people have been reported killed by police-BGB-military personnel in various districts including Dhaka around the quota reform movement. 

 

This account till Tuesday evening. Hriday Chandra Tarua (22), a student of Chittagong University (CHB), died while undergoing treatment at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He was shot dead last Thursday in Chittagong. Another person died at Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.

Apart from this, eight more deaths were reported on Tuesday. Among them, five died in Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in Dhaka and two died in Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital. Another dead person was found at Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.

The death toll is based on sources from some hospitals, people who brought the bodies and relatives. Not all hospitals were imaged. According to the information received so far, 6 people died on July 16 (Tuesday), Thursday 41, Friday 84, Saturday 38, Sunday 21, Monday 5 and yesterday Tuesday 2. Among them, the deaths of last Monday and Tuesday took place under treatment.
