BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie arrested

BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie was arrested by Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police.

 Annie was arrested from New Elephant at around 5:30 pm on Thursday. BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed this information by quoting Annie's elder brother Happy Chowdhury.

Meanwhile, the BNP has alleged that Saniyat, son of BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu (who is not involved in politics), has also been detained by law enforcement officials.
