BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has been taken to the hospital. She was admitted to the capital's private Evercare Hospital around 4:20 am on Monday.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Chairperson's press wing, gave this information at 4:45 am.
Shairul Kabir Khan in a small message, quoting Khaleda Zia's personal doctor A ZM Zahid Hossain, said that due to sudden illness, Khaleda Zia was taken to Evercare Hospital by ambulance from her Gulshan home in the capital. He has been admitted to hospital.
Earlier, the BNP Chairperson was taken home from Evercare Hospital on July 2. He was admitted to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital by ambulance when he fell ill late at night on June 22. That night the medical board met and decided to implant a pacemaker in his heart. The device was successfully installed that afternoon.
