Awami League completely partisanised the administration |
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (July 09) —
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir criticized the government, stating that under the Awami League's rule, Bangladesh is rapidly heading towards chaos. He expressed concerns about the erosion of freedom, sovereignty, and the deterioration of the economy and education system. Fakhrul made these remarks during a prayer ceremony at the Nayapaltan Metropolitan BNP office on Tuesday.
BNP Secretary General commented that the government is taking the country to the abyss. He said, as long as the Awami League government remains in power, Bangladesh will go to the abyss faster. People will not have freedom, sovereignty. The economy and education system will be destroyed. There is nothing that is not destroyed.
Mirza Alamgir said, Awami League established a party during its tenure after independence. Today they talk about democracy with a little 'disguise', they have destroyed democracy. In destroying democracy, they destroyed elections. Destroyed the country's economy. The administration has been fully partisan.

He said, we now need to build a unity among all. Through that unity, the movement should be strengthened and defeated on the streets. Referring to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Fakhrul said, there is no reason to separate the release of the national leader. The liberation of the country's leader, the liberation of this country, the liberation of democracy. If we can remove Awami League, then we can bring back all the issues. No one can defeat us if we all work together.
