Asif Mahtab and Nusrat Tabassum picked up by DB

 

Asif Mahtab, a former teacher of BRAC University and Nusrat Tabassum, one of the coordinators of the quota movement, have been taken into DB custody. Dhaka Metropolitan Police Additional Commissioner (DB) Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid said this in a press conference organized at the DB office on Sunday.

DB chief Harun said there is nothing to worry about. For security reasons Nusrat, Asif and five others have been brought into the custody of DB.

Nusrat is a postgraduate student of Political Science Department of Dhaka University. He was picked up from Rupnagar residential area of ​​Mirpur in the capital early this morning. Asif Mahtab was picked up from his Uttara residence in the capital on Saturday night.
