Police clashed with a group of students agitating for quota reform in Feni. Police fired bullets, rubber bullets and tear shells to disperse them.
Eyewitnesses said that a group of students took out a protest march in the trunk road area of Feni city around 5:30 pm on Wednesday in protest against the killing of protesting students. They tried to block the road by positioning themselves in front of the city's Central School and in front of the Great Jama Masjid in Feni. When the police tried to move them, a chase ensued. At this time the police threw tearshells. At one point the students also started throwing bricks. Later, the students entered the big market through Takiya Road in the city.
