The leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement agitating for the quota reform have given a 24-hour ultimatum to accept the three-point demand.
The leaders of the organization warned that if their demands were not accepted within the stipulated time, they would give a tougher program than the Bengal blockade. Besides, they will also draw mass communication and protest graffiti on Sunday to attract the attention of the world community.
The coordinator of the organization announced this ultimatum in a press conference organized on the online platform Google Meet this Saturday night. Abdul Hannan Masood. Mahin Sarkar, coordinator of the organization and Rifat Rashid, co-coordinator, were present at the press conference among others.
Their demands are that an independent commission consisting of students should urgently legislate in parliament as per its recommendations on quota reform, release of arrested students including withdrawal of all cases and dismissal of police and ministers involved in the 'murder'.
