A 19-year-old woman has been accused of rape on the Chittagong-bound Udayan Express train from Sylhet. The incident occurred at 4:30 am on Wednesday while the train was passing through the Laksam area. Although the assault took place in the early morning, the matter only came to light in the evening.

According to sources, three employees of the catering service raped a young woman in the food car of Udayan Express, which left Sylhet for Chittagong at 8 pm on Tuesday. When the train reached Chittagong station at 6:30 am on Wednesday, the victim reported the matter to the police. Later, the three were taken from the train to the railway station.
