Rickshaw drivers march for lowering essential prices

Rickshaw pullers protested in Nayapaltan of the capital. A protest march started from Arambagh on Friday afternoon demanding to stop bribery, corruption and looting and control the price of goods. When the procession wanted to come towards Kakrail, the police blocked it in front of Nayapaltan BNP office.

Meanwhile, the rickshaw pullers protested against the increase in the price of goods and said that we working people are living in hardship due to the increase in daily necessities. They demanded price control of daily necessities. They said that the government is taking away the right to live as well as the freedom of speech of the common people. We don't understand politics. We want to live on two meals of pulses and rice. My right to live is also being taken away by increasing the price of goods through the government syndicate. More than half a hundred rickshaw pullers took part in the procession.
