Religion Minister Faridul Haque Khan Dulal, the chief negotiator at the meeting, said, "Bangladesh's position is in favor of Palestine." Bangladesh has always condemned Israel for its atrocities. Israel recognized Bangladesh but Bangladesh rejected it.

He said, 'Our position on the Palestine issue is very clear. We want a two-state solution. Al Aqsa is associated with the emotions of Muslims. We want a separate territory, country and flag for Muslims there. We will always have support and cooperation in this regard.
